Easy date ideas

Make time for a date night, don’t get stuck in the same old routine and get bored; keep it simple, but get up, go out (or stay in) and have a great time together…

Go for a hike (or a walk)!trails.jpg

There is nothing better than getting outside with your SO; disconnecting from technology and being out in nature gives you plenty of time to talk and reconnect with one another. Haven’t been together long? Going for a long walk in the park is also a perfect “get to know each other” activity, best part, it doesn’t cost a thing!

Go out to eat for breakfast!

Typically people go out for dinner, but going to breakfast can be even better; the food will be lighter and it’s less likely you’ll have to wait to get a seat. I love going out to breakfast at a local boutique place on a Saturday morning.

Cook dinner together!

This is one of my favorite things to do with my SO. It can be intimate, playful time spent together and you get a meal to share out of it. My hubby and I love making pizza together, the dough takes a while so it gives us time to chat and enjoy each others’ company.

Playing games is a great way to spend uninterrupted time together where you can be engaged, talk and even get a little playfully competitive. We love our board game nights! Plus, I don’t even mind losing. 🙂

Take a day road trip!

roadtripHave any scenic drives in your area or a beautiful destination a few hours away… perfect for a date day trip. We often take day trips to the Flathead Lake in Northern Montana; it’s a gorgeous drive all the way up and takes the whole day, plus we stop for lunch at a place we don’t normally get to enjoy since it’s 2-3 hours from home.

Friday pizza and a movie tradition!

It’s Friday, you both just finished a long work week and don’t feel like going out… so order a pizza and rent a movie. Sometimes being homebodies together is the best!

Check out the local farmer’s market!

Once the weather gets nice here in Montana we love to take Saturday mornings to get outside and walk around the local farmers market, enjoy a pastry and coffee from a vendor and enjoy all of the fresh produce and neat crafts people create!

Go for a bike ride!bikes.jpg

We go for bike rides all the time, even when it’s a little chilly out still. As long as there is no snow, we bundle up, ride next to each other and chat. It’s one of my favorite things to do together because it doesn’t take much time, we are getting active and the quality time together is always amazing.

Try a new sport together!

Maker:S,Date:2017-10-6,Ver:6,Lens:Kan03,Act:Lar02,E-YNow this one is a little funny, you wouldn’t think trying out a new hobby or sport would be that great, but we did this last weekend! We bought some rackets on sale and thought it could be fun. We did a lot more running than actually playing since we both kind of sucked and had to keep chasing the ball, but it was fun and we’ll get it by summer I think!
